Mr. Kenik has decades of experience as business owner and as a financial services consultant. He brings his extensive experience in business management and marketing to POSA.

He is a sworn peace officer in New Mexico, and has served as a board member and a committee member of several non-profit organizations.

Author of Armed Response, A Comprehensive Guide To Using Firearms for Self-Defense, he has been an avid shooter for 25 years and a regular competitor in IDPA and IPSC matches.  Mr. Kenik has completed courses from internationally recognized use of force institutions in the judicious use of lethal force, firearms, weapon disarming/retention, and edged weapons.
 

Mr. Mroz is a police officer in Western Massachusetts, currently assigned to his county’s counter drug/gang task force.  He is an internationally recognized authority on defensive tactics, firearms training, and training methods.
 
He has produced two videos prior to POSA: Facing the Blad" and Extremely Close Quarter Shooting, and two books: Defensive Shooting for Real-Life Encounters and Tactical Defensive Training for Real-Life Encounters  that have re-defined the way that training is done with firearms and for edged weapons defense. Mr. Mroz has taught at international training venues and has dozens of professional certifications and instructorships from nationally recognized bodies. 

 

Mr. Duggan is a firearms instructor with the Maynard, MA police department and a member of the 94th Army MP Company.  He is taking a leading role in Massachusetts in the development of interactive force-on-force simulation training.

Mr. DuVernay is the Chief of Police in New Braintree, MA, the former Director of the Smith & Wesson Academy, and the President of the Massachusetts Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors & Armorers Association.

Mr. de Bethencourt is a Massachusetts police officer and a well-known police trainer with Northeastern Tactical Schools.  He was formally a staff instructor with the Sigarms Academy.

Mr. Lehman is the Chief of Police in Montpelier, Ohio. He leads a police department committed to excellence and outstanding community service, enabled by state-of-the-art ongoing training for all of its officers.

Mr. Markel is a well-known law enforcement writer, and a former police officer in Ohio where he was a leading use-of-force trainer in the mid-west.  He has provided VIP protection to clients in the United States and abroad and is presently a contract military trainer.  His website is www.paulmarkel.com 

Ms. Pawela is former lieutenant and narcotics/SWAT K-9 handler with the Moscow, Russia police.  She is the survivor of several lethal force situations, and is now a highly respected trainer, based in Florida.
